The DAB/DMB receiver that is used with the Openmokast project is the MTech UDR-A3L DMB-T USB Digital Receiver . This same receiver is also distributed as the Albrecht DR 403 - DAB/DMB Receiver in some countries.

The MTech UDR-A3L is shown on the right. This receiver is used inside the Openmokast device prototype.

To integrate the receiver inside the prototype, the casing of the device was removed and the full size USB connector was replaced by a mini USB connector.

We believe that the entire UDR family of receivers from MTech is composed of the same hardware and that, in fact, they should all be compatible with Openmokast. For that matter, we would appreciate to have some feedback from users that have tried the other receivers. This post on our forum can be used to communicate your results.
