The Openmokast project was presented at the "Free/Open Source Mobile Development" conference in Waterloo, Canada on February 4th 2009. Some of the attendees were not familiar with the Openmoko platform at all so it was a nice opportunity for them to learn about it. A live demo was also executed on the site of the conference using the software transmitter provided by our mmbTools Live CD.
