The Openmokast prototype is using a case extension to provide more room inside the Openmoko FreeRunner. This extension was designed based on the CAD files release by Openmoko from their web site. We have now released our own CAD file for the extension under a creative common license. This could be used to manufacture extensions for any project that needs to modify a FreeRunner by adding new hardware. Many ideas were already mentioned on the Openmoko wiki.
